Dear colleagues,
Over the last few years EI has worked on deepening our relationship with internationally acclaimed academics/researchers. We often refer to them as our "critical friends", colleagues whom we can rely upon to provide critical policy advice and contribute to policy forums and public discourse through various publications.
In previous years we have convened meetings with our critical friends to discuss the numerous challenges that lay before us. This year however, we have invited some of our critical friends to team up with us and take part in a symposium:
The Politics of Privatization in Education: New Governance, New Policy Networks, New Knowledge Brokers,
The symposium will be held between April 12-14, 2016 at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at NYU.
The website is: http://wp.nyu.edu/politicsofprivatization/
The symposium's Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/PoliticsofPrivatizationinEd/
The Twitter hashtags are: #POPnoncon (for the symposium) #unite4ed (generic EI)
