The previous Minister for Education, Ruairí Quinn TD, established a small working group to be chaired by Mr. Peter Cassells, former General Secretary of Congress, to investigate and report on the issue of Higher Education Funding.
 
Although this group has not yet put out a call for submissions, IFUT has already sent in a policy paper.
 
This paper is included below and members of IFUT and of the general public are quite free to download it and reuse it as they see fit. We would ask for due credit to be given for quotes, statistics etc.
