IFUT Member, Darren Fayne, TCD, represents IFUT Researchers, and others, on Eurodoc.  Darren is a part of a Eurodoc Working Group that is in the course of developing a survey to capture information on differing approaches to Researchers and research across the EU.

This survey is a Eurodoc initiative and in September the final survey will be sent to all 26 national associations in Eurodoc who represent postdocs.

For now two countries have been asked to complete it by August 7th – Ireland and Slovenia as they are both members of the working group.  If there are members interested in supporting Darren with the survey, this would be most welcome, and submissions or requests to view the survey can be made to Frank Jones in the IFUT Head Office.

We are confident that the information gathered through this survey will leave IFUT better positioned to represent Researchers into the future.
