This year’s IFUT Annual Delegate Conference will be held on Saturday 19 September 2020.

The conference will open at 11:00 am and run until 1:00pm.

As previously advised, due to Covid-19 this year’s ADC will be a virtual/on-line event.

The fact that we cannot all gather together in one venue is a real disappointment.  Our annual conference is always a very enjoyable affair and, time and time again, participants have remarked that it always serves as a real morale booster for everyone and is also a hugely valuable opportunity to network and to share with and learn from colleagues news and experiences which help us all to do a better job for our union and its members.

Nevertheless, we are certain that the vast majority of our members will accept that this change of format is the right and proper course of action in these very trying times.

Regardless of its format there is a rule-based requirement for an ADC to go ahead and the rules also specify that certain decisions must be taken by an ADC every year. 

It is for this reason that the conference will proceed on a virtual basis.
